Greetings Friends and Ministry Partners,

The past two months have been great; we have seen God do some awesome stuff in the ministry. The last week has been just a little warm, but it is summer. We can thank God for A/C… Amen.

We conducted six seminars in May and June, of which four were in conjunction with Forgiven Ministry One Day with God Camps. We witnessed fifty-three individuals pray to receive Christ as Lord and Savior and several rededicate their lives. Praise to God for what we are witnessing through the ministry. It’s so rewarding to witness how God is changing the lives of dads and moms in order to bless their children.

Friends, as we continue to serve the Lord we encounter more hurting and needy people. The Lord has lead us onto a ministry I would not have ever dreamed I would be in, but God has placed us here for a purpose. I believe it’s to minister to the same type people He spent time with and ministered to. I am seeing the Holy Spirit at work in ways that most of us would never believe. I know that Ouida and I are right where the Lord wants us. This is not a ministry where you receive a lot of praise or one of which you find few people who really care. The families we engage are those who have been devastated by bad choices caused by sin. The same sin of which all men are guilty – rejecting God and doing it our way.

God has placed four correctional institutions on my heart I feel He wants us to serve in on a regular basis. The men at each institution have a desire to learn more about God and how they can be the Godly Men He desires them to be. In order for us to be able to accomplish all the Lord has in store I need your help. You may question what you can do. It all starts with prayer -first, you can become put of our prayer group, second, volunteer to help with special projects, third, introduce us to individuals or businesses that we can share our story with and forth, monthly support to the ministry to enable us to continue the work the Lord has for each of us. All I ask is that you pray and ask God what he would have you do.

God has opened the doors of South Carolina Correctional Facilities where we are conducting Holistic Hardware Life Skill courses in several institutions.  The men in these classes are applying Bible based principles in their lives leading to decreased / lower recidivism rates statewide. These men are becoming constructive citizens and tax-payers of South Carolina.  We are thankful that Blue Ridge Ministries can be used by God in a minute but powerful way.  We pray that by your continued support and financial contributions that we can “fully accomplish our ministry”.  To God be the glory!!  Be blessed………..
