Greetings Friends and Ministry Partners,
As we begin 2016 God has opened up some great opportunities for us to minster not only to incarcerated parents but to the entire family. Through our newly developed partnership with Awana this opens a way to reach the children through Awana Clubs in local churches in their communities. This is the only way will ever see the cycle of crime broken.
We are now working in six correctional institutions; five in South Carolina and one in North Carolina with an additional facility in South Carolina which will start up within four to five weeks. We now teaching Parenting Classes for mothers and dads, Discipleship Classes, Life Skill Classes and in addition to these classes we also teach Great Dads Seminars in other facilities and the Overcomers Program at Miracle Hill in Greenville.
Malachi Dads and Hannah’s Gift are programs to help mothers and dads connect or re-connect with their children. Each of which is a twelve week study with strict requirements and upon completion they participate in a Returning Hearts Celebration with their children on a designated Saturday.
Friends and partners I need your commitment to pray for us as reach out to these families. Prayer is the greatest of all needs. We also need volunteers and financial support as we have lost $950.00 in monthly support in the past year and effective April 1st that will increase to $1,450.00 which is about $18,000.00 per year. Please pray for God to raise the donors needed to make up this deficit. If you believe God would have you become a monthly donor please let me know.
