News

Greetings Friends and Ministry Partners,

The past two months have been a real time of testing for Ouida and me.  She fell off our patio Memorial Day and broke both ankles, with the left being the worst.  She had surgery on the 28th and has approximately a 10″ rod and 12 screws in her left ankle.  She was in the hospital’s rehab center until the 9th of July and still has another six weeks of rehab.  They are beginning to allow her to apply 25% of her weight on the left leg.  Please pray for her complete and speedy recovery.

This has been a little trying for me with the ministry and having to be available for her.  I had a Holistic Hardware Class graduate May the 30th and was able to conduct two seminars in May, one in conjunction with One Day with God. We witnessed thirteen individuals pray to receive Christ and another thirty rededicate their walk with the Lord. I have had to re-schedule July’s seminars to August and September due to Ouida’s fall and that’s going to make the last five months of the year pretty busy.

We are praying about expanding the ministry to have a greater impact on the complete family. I’m asking you to pray with us as we seek God’s Will in this matter, because it will involve more volunteers and financial support. We will also need churches to embrace these families and especially the children. I hope we will be able to share more information in our next newsletter as we are still gathering information needed to make the right decision on moving forward.

We are still in need of replacing our ministry car and I don’t feel we need to use funds we desperately need for our programs. Pray for God to open the door for us to replace this vehicle without incurring additional debt.

Pray for God to show you what He wants you to do to help us reach a hurting and changing world, as we share the Good News of Jesus Christ. You can check the website at www.blueridgeministries.org for ways to give and for a schedule of upcoming events. Board Members, Thanks for your faithful support and service.

In His Service,

Jim Williams

 So shall My word be which goes forth from My mouth;

It shall not return to Me empty,

Without accomplishing what I desire,

And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it. NAS

Isa.55:11
